i ALMOST GAVE UP oN MY DREAM OF BEING A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER...
I was frustrated from trying to understand how my settings worked. I kept submitting my photographs to agencies but they would tell me my pictures were too soft or grainy and I'd miss out on a lot of opportunities to get published. It was embarrassing and disheartening!
I tried all the different auto modes, but nothing made my photos sharp enough to be magazine worthy.
Eventually after a lot of frustration, a very patient and knowledgable photographer friend sat me down and walked me through step by step how my settings worked. What a relief when I finally had my "aha" moment!
I finally understood how to make my photos sharp and my work started getting published everywhere - even on the cover of Professional Photographer Magazine!
I really wish someone had just sat me down and showed me how simple it was at the beginning of my career!
